Tourism and Hospitality summit is an initiative of the Institute of Director (IoD). The Tourism and Hospitality Committee has announced details of the first Tourism & Hospitality Summit and this will be held on the 17th May 2016 at The Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
This summit will be focusing on how Nigeria can grow her Tourism and Hospitality industry locally and benefit from it internationally. Among those who will be sharing some of their experiences are:
*Chairman of South African Tourism Board Mr. Zwelibanzi Mntambo as he speaks on Tourism as a viable enterprise- the South African Story and lessons for Nigeria

*The role of the Private Sector in the growth of the Tourism & Hospitality in Nigeria by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi

* Marek Zymyslowski – Executive, Entrepreneur and Speaker, inventor of HotelOga, an innovative online booking management tool and one of 2014′s Ten Most Important Africans in Tech by IT News Africa Magazine will be sharing his experience in Digitisation, youth and Tourism
*Mrs. Sally Mbanefo, Director General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) and Chief Tomi Akingbogun, President of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), the umbrella body for tourism associations in the country, share their thoughts at the IoD Tourism Summit.
